You getting rid of 'the stranger' and 'the kite rider' gave me a video idea for you!! Maybe you could do a video where you only read books with the same title/almost the same title. So for example read books that all have the word 'stranger' in them, and see if they all have the same theme or not :)

as someone who's seen book series with the first book missing in a secondhand store many times, not once has it crossed my mind the person donating it might have not donated the first book. i always just assume someone bought the first one before i got there

The Orphanage is one of the most popular books here in Ukraine (especially now). I haven't read it (yet) but the author is a great person, so I hope you'll enjoy it)

Seeing you get rid of The Secret Life of Bees is so sad bc I absolutely love that book! It’s a excellent book set in the civil rights movement that shows how strong bonds can be between both blood and chosen family. My cover in America is so much nicer with just some bees and a honey jar on the front, so maybe look for the American version!

You made me feel so much better about unhauling books!! I always feel guilty whenever I have a book and know I will never want to read it but I feel guilty about not giving it a try. It’s sometimes okay to say that this book just isn’t for you!!
