when browsing for books to read, i always look for book reviews. that is why i bring you a huge book unhaul / declutter my shelves that quickly turned into a very chatty video about the books i didn't enjoy and me losing my mind over some of the new book releases coming this year. booktube and booktok have buzzed about some of these books… let’s see if i enjoyed them. i hope you guys enjoy this one and come out with more books to add to your TBR and some good book recommendations for 2024!

📗📘📙 I haven't done an unhaul in a long time because the books I have now are all special to me in some way. But what you have done is reinforced my understanding of the need to take advantage of the resources I have (library, Libby etc.) so that I keep it that way. It's easy to watch people on booktube showing off their hundreds and hundreds of books and feel the urge to just go buy every book I see. But then I remember times I've borrowed a book I've wanted to buy and either didn't like it or thought it was just okay. So this is a good reminder to take it easy and be responsible with purchases so I will only have books on my shelf that I love. 😊❤

This unhaul was amazing and I love that you are donating them since books in English aren’t as accessible ❤ I live in a little studio with no room for a bookshelf, so I have a list of books to buy one day when I do have a proper shelf, but for now I just keep space for my special editions that I love 😊 because of this, I feel like I am constantly unhauling a book here and there even though my collection is small.

I just did an unhaul yesterday, so this video is perfect timing! I relate a lot to what you were saying about how tastes change over time and also sometimes you can get so caught up in the excitement of finding a beautiful or new book without thinking through if it’s one you actually want to read. Renovated my room last summer and I got rid of a BUNCH of my books now I only keep books I love and could see myself re read and a small tbr cart feels so nice to know you’ve read 90% of your books

I’m proud of any YouTuber for giving up any amount books. I usually do a monthly thing where I look through my books and see which ones I wanna read(reread), haven’t read and don’t want to read anymore, or read and just don’t plan to read anymore
