I personally find you brave and inspiring. Growing up, my parents would give me heck for not using something that was purchase. Your frank and public sorting of these books brings a smile to my face. Happy reading!

I LOVED this video and the idea behind it, a great way of getting rid of excess books. I also have Black Brother, Black Brother on my TBR and really excited to read it

The nice thing about letting go some of those books is that if you decide to try again, you can just picked them up at the library. Less stress on you about buying a book and not reading it, Less stress in deciding to DNFing said book, and you have room to keep the books you know you want to keep.

Actually some of those I did see within my own library when I did my personal run to make it easier for me to get back into it again. (I did pick up Mercades Lacky's "A Scandal in Battersea", one from her Elemental Masters Series, mostly to give me an excuse to ask more questions so I knew the changes they did since 2013 (the last time I renewed my card >_>) Huge changes I came to find out as they're focusing more on Online set ups so if you go into the physical library, you can self checkout yourself without a card and go on without a problem. Though defeantly check on your area's library because I came to find out they're all different depending on state and country)

I'm mostly still working on my TBR, Also working on a Buddy read which I think I need to focus on more so now due to my friend getting her book from the library herself, and she only have so many days before she has to return it. I'm also at the same time reading "At the Edge of the World" short stories which is taking me longer due to being distracted of needing to do that buddy read lol. Trying to avoiding in buying more books before I finish what I have now on my list.

Hi, Amber!! Such a nice idea for a video!
But why do you have to read them all within a year? Do you have space troubles? (I know I do, but I just can't give any of my books away)

I remember Merphy talking about "The House of the Cerulean Sea". She liked it enough, if I remember correctly...
I have not read it so no personal opinion from me.

About "The Book Thief", personally I am more inclined to watching the movie since they say it's so good. Historical Fiction is not really my thing, especially if the book is this thick and the theme so depressing.

I have definitely heard of "Jade City" before, probably from Merphy. I remember that it's part one of a trilogy (I think 🤔). Personally, if I don't get hooked from the start, I know I won't invest the time a series needs to be read. So if you are lukewarm about it, maybe leave it for some other time.

I can't wait to hear your opinion on Daniel's book!

"The Maze Runner" is definitely more Science Fiction than Fantasy. It's a classic and if you finish it, I would really like hearing your thoughts on it.
