These are not followers of Christ. If what they do contradicts the Bible, then theres no two ways about it.

Sounds demonic, who else that we know wanted to be like God. I'm sure there are many good people amongst them but would not be interested.

Basically the Mormon God could’ve been a McDonalds Cashier 😂😂😂😂😂

Maybe, I suppose it’s semantics. I personally see Mormons as ‘more Christian’ than a mega church with a ‘pastor’ spamming shallow self help with the occasional reference to Jaysus. I at least see Mormons as genuine in their beliefs, whereas the prosperity gospel type stuff just seems to be openly a scam.

Hi! Ex-LDS here. MAINSTREAM LDS don't believe that Exaltation means Godhood. That's a Fundamentalist thing

Hi, I'm an active, life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ: of Latter-Day Saints.
Rather than listening to what others say about me and my people, why don't you do as the aposteles did and "Come and see for yourself." (John 1:46)
Come and ask me whatever question you may have about my religion, and I will answer your question to the fullest of my knowledge. And please, let's me civil about this, no name calling. And if you truly have no intention of hearing my words, it would be better that you don't ask anything.
But please, I invite all of you, my Brothers and Sisters, to ask me any genuine questions they may have about my faith.

I'm atheist but I love your videos, they teach a lot about the differences in denominations

Many people here brought up the subject of the Nicaean creed of council. Since, not a lot of people know about the Nicaean creed; there was and still is a formal council of early Christians all around the world to discuss matters of core beliefs.

You see, although many of the Christians beliefs differ slightly considering different backgrounds, the council seeks to define certain concrete fundamental beliefs that unites all of us christians, the first of which, took place in Nicaea. There was a case of a Roman priest from Libya named Arius, who tried settling a debate about “the essence of God” by saying that Jesus’ human essence and Godly essence are separate, meaning that sometimes Jesus is fully man, capable of sin. Fast forward, Arius barely had any support of other priests with this claim and the council deemed it to be heresy. Arius left to the east and build his own sect.

So anyways, every church in the world, and in this context, the US, consider the Nicaean creed as canon as did our early christian forefathers. It wasn’t until recently more groups in the US started making their new religion and some of which, reintroduced Arianism, to the point that is worse.

Jehovah witnesses generally believe to a degree of Arianism

Mormons are beyond Arianism to the point which I’m sure even Arius would consider it to be heresy😅

Anyways hopefully you guys understand better and correct me if I’m wrong. ❤

Didn't the early Christians believe in theosis? Which is similar to exaltation.

Following Jesus isn’t the definition of a Christian if it’s not a real Jesus. It’s a false Christ that can’t save. Paul says this in the first century in 2nd Corinthians

It does not depend upon how you define it. It's not the same Jesus Christian's follow. Dig deeper into their belief system.
