Great job. I'm sure Tolkien would have loved that you do these videos.

Here's how the first meeting really went:

Man: Hi.
Elf: Sup?
Man: Not much, hbu?
Elf: Not much.
Man: Cool, cool. Wanna hang?
Elf: K.

The meeting of elves and men is very interesting! I like the way then men were woken up to music! I feel Tolkien’s inclusion of that is truly something special and helps instantly create a bond with the two races! I can imagine it truly would have been a beautiful scene! Great video.

indeed finrod was kind and pure of heart:
he was reluctant to leave to valinor to middle earth (unlike his sister galadriel to example).
he didn't take part in the kinslaying yet still he wouldn't slander feanor and his sons when facing thingol.
he befriended the dwarves who helped him build nargothrond and they bestowed him with the title felagund.
he was the one who welcomed mankind into beleriand and later prevented a conflict between them and the elves of ossiriand.
he persuaded thingol to allow haleth and her people to reside within the forest of brethil.
he remained true to his oath to barahir and aided beren in his quest for the silmaril, saving him at the cost of his life.
for all of the above, he was reincarnated shortly after his death (one of very few who were specifically mentioned to be reincarnated), and reunited with his father fingolfin and his love amarie.

One of the most fascinating moments in the lore; the two children of the same maker coming together and learning from one another, truly inspiring:)
If only we had the same temperance and compassion when discovering the New World and other tragic meetings.
I think this is how Tolkien meant for all of to see and meet any new peoples that we may encounter, no matter how different ^_^

The duel of Morgoth and Fingolfin is hands down my favorite duel in fantasy works. Such anger and bravery on Fingolfins behalf, and to actually put fear and doubt in Melkors mind.

Love your videos good sir 👍

This is one of my favourite moments in the legendarium. Finrod is my favorite character and I think his acts perfectly embody what the elves were intended to do in Ilúvatar's mind: guide the secondborn with their wisdom as to leave the world a better place than they found it. It is interesting to think that by changing the first Ñoldo to find men the unfolding of events could have been very different and that we got the best scenario (imagine if one of the sons of Fëanor found them? It would be even harder to bring both peoples together with that kind of bad start). Fortunately, this meeting paved the way to all the great legends that followed, showing how important is friendship and cooperation in Tolkien's works

Whoever disliked the video should first be made to clean Morgoth's toilet and then they should be cast into the Void.

Don't even bother changing my mind.

Excellent listening material for when I'm driving. Thank you for these videos. Do one on Old Toby, the finest weed South Farthing.
Tolkien was an avid pipe smoker and was who inspired me to pick up a pipe and stay away from cigarettes. I smoke the brown leaf, not the green leaf.

Love your channel! I have been passing it on to all my friends. Thank you for presenting the lore of Middle Earth in such an entertaining and educational way!

March 25 is the Feast day of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin. Tolkien being a Catholic would know that. It would be fitting the ring was destroyed on this day.

I enjoy your videos, because of all the interesting Tolkien lore you explain, accompanying it with cool illustrations. I also like how you seem to highlight themes of kindness, friendship, bravery, and alliance that can be found throughout Tolkien's stories. We could use more of these things in our current world.
