Yay more Dutch Shepherd videos!! My puppy is half Dutch Shepherd and half Lab. I've been trying to look for more videos on Dutch Shepherds just so I can learn more about my dog, but they are really hard to come by! Now it all makes sense because they are a rare breed.

We adopted a 2.5 year old Dutchie just yesterday. Saw her on Facebook . A friend of a friend no longer had time for her aka they didn't know what they were getting themselves into! She's getting along with one of our family dogs but it'll be a challenge to get her and our 9 year old Doberman/Shep mix to get along. She's a very unique dog. Talks a lot! Chases shadows which is so strange. Can play fetch And she's the biggest sweetheart. I think she was basically ignored by her previous owners. Thanks for a great video! She's such a sweety! Our other dogs don't give kisses but she sure does!

Mine looks like the one @ 2:30 the short coat. He's a great swimmer, retriever, learns tricks after a few tries, great sense of humor, like to chase our cats but not in a mean way, fiercely loyal, can chew stuff up if not kept entertained, can jump high, super fast running, intelligent as they come, always likes to be near us, loves the family he's regularly exposed to but weary of strangers, loves the out doors and fishing, and he's about 10 months old. I hear they don't reach full size until 2 years.

Best dog's ever. I have a blue that's about 20 months and he's a beast. Depending on what bloodlines these dogs come from they can be extremely fierce. Knpv style bread dutchies are the best in my opinion. Very high drive, they love having a job or completing different tasks. Super smart and most of all loyal to the last breath. That being said. If you can't provide these dogs with the things they need. Then DON'T get one. Don't need people fuckin the bread up like pitbulls and German shepherds. If not taken care of they can be a dangerous dog. They need attention, exercise, structure and most of all your time. My dog works on a horse ranch with me and he loves his job. He's the protector of all that lives and works there. If you don't have the time it takes to own one don't get one. If you do, then you'll have a sidekick for life.

I currently have a Dutch shepherd/Belgian malinois mix and she is the most amazing dog I've ever known. Due to my families poor social skills she didn't get socialized too much which resulted in her getting overly excited by any visitors (granted we introduced them to our house). Other than that she is amazing, even now, at 6 years old, she is very willing and capable of learning new tricks and has loads of energy and loves to play. Mine can be a bit stubborn from time to time, but if I get more stern she'll listen to anything I tell her to. Suffice to say I love the dog and the breed and hope more people try having one cuz they are amazing beautiful dogs, though I wouldn't reccomend them to anyone that doesn't really know what they're doing cuz they are somewhat high maintenence in the raising department (also they shed alot generally around the changing of the seasons)

Just rescued a Dutch shep/lab mixed female and she’s mostly black with a little brown and has a little white on her chest. Had her for about 3 months now 😭❤️ She’s like my broke bestie✨

My Dutchie was smart, ready to work and learn, and she was loving. My GSD was smarter, worked harder, but was never as affectionate. The Dutch Shepherd wanted to take part in all the human things while the German Shepherd just wanted to be in the same room but waiting for a task.

I have a Treeing Tennessee Brindle (hound) mix, but she came from a rescue so I don't know what she's mixed with... Over the years I've had FOUR different strangers comment about what a nice Dutch Shepherd I have! Obviously I can't say for sure but it would definitely make sense. She has a beautiful brindle coat and all the kids in my neighborhood call her "the tiger dog" 😂
