Fix: Connect to a Wireless Display Missing | Broken | Can't get Connect App

Want to use a Laptop or another device as a wireless display? While it may sound simple, and for the most part it is... There are a few things you need to know. This video shows you how to set it up, and the issues you may face, as well as how to fix them. You NEED both devices to have wireless features, and the 'display' to have the Connect app installed. You don't need to be connected to any Wi-Fi network, or at least I didn't. This technology is called Miracast.

I do apologize for the video being all over the place, but there is a lot of information, besides the tutorial itself.

Manual install command: DISM /Online /Add-Capability /CapabilityName:App.WirelessDisplay.Connect~~~~0.0.1.0

I used to use wireless display for a long time without any troubles. I was watching a football game and it just disconnected. Since then I am not able to find wireless display with my laptop :(

hilarious! great video though, I could tell you must have spent way too much time trying to figure it out going into stuff like NDIS settings and other deep things on forums. Well, you helped me to get it to work, but like you said, it really is a P.O.S.. into the trash with it.
