I lost a pal Christmas Eve 24, a friendship forged 60 years ago. He took a higher path, I took a lower path. He watched my back always.. Almost a brother, you are out of pain now my dear friend, thank you Richard for the years.

This piece of music in a cathedral with those acoustics must be like heaven to witness live.

This takes so much vocal control to sing. Each of these choir members is an outstanding vocal musician. The sopranos on the high sections - so beautiful and tastefully done. I could listen to this to all day. For anyone who doesn't know, this Latin prayer is translated in English to "Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, grant us peace."

I maintain that Barber's Adagio for Strings is the greatest thing to ever happen to sound waves, and the same with a vocal arrangement is up there on the list too!

There is little that can equal the sounds of choir like this singing a piece like this within a Cathedral. Nothing else comes close.

Didn't plan on crying tonight but here we are.

Fifty years ago my high school choir performed this piece, in English, at a nearby church. Our performance was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately, we never recorded this song. As I write this I have tears in my eyes. Such a wonderful performance. It's true - music is the universal language and hymns like this one can truly pull us together as a people. Carry on, choir. Love to all of you.

the 389 people who gave this a thumbs down are brain dead with no soul, this is one of the finest pieces of music ever written and wonderfully performed.

What I wouldn’t give to be sat there listening to this unbelievable performance. I adore this piece of music but the choir recital … absolutely sublime.
Moved me to tears .

Whether stringed instruments or voices, this Adagio is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written.

I had the honor and privilege to perform this piece with the Carthage College Choir in the late 90’s. I had a hard time trying to keep my voice every time we sang it because this hit the depths of my soul while performing it. To this day I shall never forget the feeling of being moved so ethereally and spiritually.

It is November 2021. Fifty-one years ago my high school choir performed this piece flawlessly. Such musical beauty will live in me forever. Thanks to this choir for keeping the memory alive. Soli Deo Gloria. To God alone be the glory (J. S. Bach).
