while wearing power armor, switch to 3rd person to swing melee weapons faster. also if you don't know whether a ghoul on the ground is dead, use vats to see if it's alive and kill it before it gets up.

Make water purifiers with power

Trade in at shops for whatever you want :)

you can buy weapons that may have something you want or need like a sight you dont have access to or too low on junk to build. buy it or take it go to a work bench and put stander what ever it is and go to you weaponry and slap the mod you want like a boss I did that with most of my guns especially the legendary ones to make them more boss

** IMPORTANT TIP! Do not collect the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. bobbleheads until you Max out that attribute to 10. Then allowing you to gain a permanent 11 for those attributes. If you grab the bobblehead before you reach 10, then you can't upgrade past it.

Don't sell pre-war money & cigarettes like in past games, sell guns, some ammo if you have a lot in one so you can buy the one your low on or if your not using them at all use them to get weapons you want. when you have a good large settlement purified water will be your Stimpacks as you will get 20 at a time at times keep stimpacks for when your out of food & water or after a fight to heal quickly, during fights stimpacks are sometimes useless & they'll lead to your death more offend then they help you. that's what I've learned while playing, at the start it was hard to let go of the old tricks from Fallout 3 & New vegas.

A small tip for everyone. There is a small farming settlement just outside Sanctuary Hills: clear Corvega Factory of raiders and your new settlement will join the Minutemen. Use this settled are to farm, and Sanctuary Hills to be a home base for your new Commonwealth. Ring a bell, and you can have Sanctuary Hills citizens go to allied settlements and perform tasks, like farming.

oh, i never knew about the companion perks, mainly because i hate having them around since they constantly block doorways for me xD

well, i guess now i should keep them around enough to get their perks, THEN THEY GET THE BOOT!

I managed to get recon scope on my sniper even though i don't have the proper skill level to craft it. i found it at a vendor and removed it from that item and slapped it on my current sniper. Great way to work around a low skill level to get good attachments

guys if you need copper and screws scrap the pip guns its worth it plus the guns are cheap and weak so have fun ps you might need the scraper perk

One hack for Fallout VR players is that you can unlock chained doors from the other side by putting your hand through the wall :D Its hack...but can be useful.

Walking while wearing Power Armor does not drain the Fusion Core.
