QOTD: ALWAYS pick up skins off the ground as skins in valorant are proven to give u 10x better aim.

QOTD: When your teammate is in a clutch situation, don’t command them how they should play, instead just tell them important info (damage, abilities used, location)

QOTD: Always have a good attitude even if you aren’t doing good. Putting yourself down can put you and your teammates in a bad mood, which may make you lose more duels

QOTD: Go to off 'Keep player centered'. This will allow you to see the whole map at once in the minimap. Very helpful to know what's happening in the round.

QOTD: very simple tip that helped me finally get out of gold is positioning yourself so you only have to fight one enemy at a time I win way more fights that way and it makes the game seem less overwhelming

QOTD: Don't play the game like your life depends on it. Play it to have fun, you can improve a lot with this mindset.

QOTD: Don't try to maximize your kills by rushing, instead try to minimize your deaths by playing efficiently.
Also, don't curse your bottom fragger, it puts more pressure on them and they continue to loose more, instead motivate them to be chill :)

Most of the boxes are at exactly headshot height. The entire game is built of blocks that mean a lot of items/wall bricks/lines/decals are at exactly head height giving you easy aim references on every map at every range.

I don't know why, but having my friend who played before me actually tell me to aim at my teammates heads for crosshair placement before the round even starts was such a good tip. Head shot level for us is the same as the enemy, and it reminded me to keep my gun up. I see a lot of new players aiming at the floor, so its a good quick tip

QOTD: Dont think youre good just because you are at the top of the leaderboard

if you are new to a tactical fps shooter...believe me in the beginning you don't need to learn things like flicking or one tapping or counter strafing, according to me the only thing u need to learn in the beginning is crosshair placement pls try to put your crosshair at the head level all the time and try to not randomly aim at a wall, aim at places or corners where enemies can suddenly peak form.

QOTD: I think using your ability wisely is a great tip. A lot of low elo players don't use their flashes or stuff before peeking which makes them more vulnerable.

My tip is don´t be afriad to test new agents. I were stuck on one for long so when it got locked before I could choose it I were uncomfortable the whole match. Another tip is to use Spike Rushes as you traing ground for learning the new agent. Also go into a custom game by yourself and practice line-ups this have improved my game alot.
The first tip I ever got were also don´t run with your crosshair in the ground but try and have it at headshot lvl at all times even when running.

QOTD: use deathmatch to identify (and ward off) a couple of common bad habits. These bad habits include unnecessarily pulling out your knife (especially after getting a kill) and reloading your weapon too early.

QOTD: Know when to play passively and when to play aggressively. One of the reasons why I always die in Valo is because I'm too impatient. As long as you're not an entry dualist, take your time in entering sites. Check corners, lurk if you have to, and start to be aggressive when you know it's the right time to be aggressive. Playing passive-aggresively is one of the best playstyles you can do in Valorant and in any FPS Game overall

QOTD: Use utility! I was Silver 2 just a week and a half ago and now I’m Plat 1. During my grind I noticed how little Silver and low Gold use util compared to higher gold and plat

QOTD: You don’t always have to push out when defending !! sit back and let them come to you. set up and get ready for them

I’d have to say a good tip for me has to do with the shooting mechanics of the game. Really drill into yourself the idea of stopping, and tap firing and just learning when to tap and when to spray. I felt like once I got that down I started performing incredibly well.

QOTD: Consider the objective/time and your teammates at all times. THIS IS NOT A BATTLE ROYALE. IF YOU RUN OUT OF TIME, YOU STILL LOSE. If you have to 1v5 every other round bc you are too slow to react to your team, you will lose. If you care more about the scoreboard than the SCORE OF THE MATCH, you will probably lose.
