Hmm, I woulda thought straight mode for cable would mean like straight mode for conveyors: Hold CRTL while cabling to place a power pole along a cardinal direction. you kno?

Maybe a foundation with hidden wires build in, just maybe might be hard to balance based on how you handle it but just an idea

I think what would be nicer would be an industrial conduit set. In real industrial settings, metallic conduit is used to run and protect electrical cables with junctions, bends, and flex conduit. Instead of just hiding it, it would clean up conduit and be more of an aesthetic feature, allowing for nice art and creative implentations.

I usually attach cables to the beam foundation. It'd be nice to have a variant of foundation that also transports electricity.

Maybe there could be a foundation with cables inbeaded, i dont know what that is called but that would be the equivalent of underground electrical cables.

How about simple cable conduit? As an extra step, for those who need it straight? I postet this years ago in the qa site, Bit i guess it just fell thru.
