EDIT: It turns out you can get more than 4 skeletons, this is mind blowing news to me! You clearly don't need to but very cool nonetheless. In which case the advice becomes 4 skeletons - skeleton lvl - summon quality.

Thank you for this video. Im 2 hours in on my second play through. I played it for 30+ hours early last year and just failed because of no strategy. I love the guidance you give. Looking forward to playing more and having alot more fun. The soundtrack is soooo great.

Thanks! Just beat the game thanks to your guide. It obviously wasn't as smooth as shown in the video as the final level took me a few tries, but combining Laying Downs One Life with the trait that heals you when skellies die made me almost immortal.

You did not mention that 3x3 rocks/mountains will mutate into mountain peak with huge HP boost and harpies. Same don't leave mountains alone - they are giving HP only for each touching mountain/rock. Also village + vampires = huge boost after 3 loops.

Everything else is really cool.
