Glad you posted this, people need to realize the men and women in those magazines and photos only look that good for one day or leading up to their job. It’s almost (I said almost) impossible to maintain a shred like that

Classic Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients:
• 3 ripe bananas, mashed
• 1/3 cup melted butter
• 3/4 cup sugar (can reduce to 1/2 cup if you want it less sweet)
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp baking soda
• Pinch of salt
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Optional Add-ins:
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon for extra warmth

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and butter a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
3. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
4. Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla.
5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.
6. Add the flour and stir until just combined. Don’t overmix!
7. If using nuts or chocolate chips, fold them in now.
8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
9. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
10. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely

Two things for those that may be discouraged by seeing this transformation: 1. Your body's ability to recover after being at where he was is phenomenal and it will not take as long to get back there. KEEP TRYING! 2. Breaks are extremely important to help you maintain the mental health and to let your body continue to grow. Just thought I'd share these so anyone that keeps thinking "Why get to that body if it's gone so fast?" knows that it's so worth it and that there are people who believe in them!

Its crazy how fast this stuff happens, worked hard diet for like a year, had the best vacation of my life in a summer, lost a lot of progress in one week, lost the most important thing called „discipline“ and then came corona and now im hunting my old shape again 5 years later lol

Anyways here is how to make classic Kentucky-style fried chicken, start by cutting one whole chicken into parts or using about 8–10 pieces of your preferred cuts like drumsticks, thighs, or wings. Begin by marinating the chicken in buttermilk to tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor. In a large bowl, mix two cups (500 ml) of buttermilk with one teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon each of black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and optionally cayenne pepper for a bit of heat. Submerge the chicken pieces in the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or ideally overnight.

While the chicken marinates, prepare your seasoned flour coating. In another bowl, combine two cups (250 g) of all-purpose flour with two tablespoons of cornstarch for extra crispiness. Add one tablespoon of salt and a mix of spices: one teaspoon each of black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder, along with half a teaspoon each of dried thyme, dried oregano, white pepper, and ground ginger. Finish with a quarter teaspoon of cayenne pepper for a slight kick. Mix everything thoroughly.

When you’re ready to fry, remove the chicken from the buttermilk and let the excess drip off. Dredge each piece in the seasoned flour mixture, pressing it on firmly to ensure a solid coating. For extra crunch, you can double-dip: return the floured chicken to the buttermilk and coat it again in the flour. Place the coated pieces on a wire rack and let them rest for about 15–20 minutes. This helps the breading stick during frying.

Heat a large pot of oil (like canola or sunflower) to 170–175°C (340–350°F). Fry the chicken in batches to avoid overcrowding. Each batch should take about 12–15 minutes, depending on the size. Turn the pieces occasionally to ensure even browning. The chicken is done when it’s golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F). Once fried, place the chicken on a paper towel or rack to drain excess oil.

Serve hot with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or biscuits. Enjoy the crispy, juicy taste of homemade Kentucky-style fried chicken! For the chicken:
• 1 whole chicken (1.2–1.5 kg), cut into pieces

For the marinade:
• 500 ml (2 cups) buttermilk
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

For the seasoned flour:
• 250 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
• 2 tbsp cornstarch
• 1 tbsp salt
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1/2 tsp dried thyme
• 1/2 tsp dried oregano
• 1/2 tsp white pepper
• 1/2 tsp ground ginger
• 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

For frying:
• Vegetable oil (enough for deep frying)
