What If the Jedi Council Turned Instead of Anakin Skywalker

The Jedi High Council pledged itself to the Senate during the Clone Wars, what if they were sedated into the dark side of the force? How would Anakin handle this situation? Would he be able to return the force into balance or would the combined Council be too much for him to handle? Would the former Jedi Council try to overthrow Sidious and his plans?

I love scenarios where Anakin reaches his true insane peak of power in both the force, and in lightscaber combat. The idea of him taking on Sidious and a dark side empowered Yoda and Windu and winning is awesome.

I think it would've been a cool idea if Mace either had resistance to or was more affected by it since he already uses the dark side and would be pretty well acquainted with it

I love this one. I thought this would have ended much darker. I'm glad that the Jedi Order was saved and that Anakin didn't fall.

I think it's likely that Thrawn would ally himself with the New Republic the moment he feels that the tide is against him. Remember, he doesn't have a particular loyalty to the Empire and while he prefers it over the Alliance, he would rather the Galaxy be unified under a single government rather than in a three way civil war. He won't join the Alliance outright, but he'll secure a portion of the Galaxy for his empire(likely in the Galactic North, and then ally with them against Tarkin's empire(likely centered in the Core).

Edit: So basically it would be like the Imperial Remnant under Pellaeon, a parallel but not necessarily rival government existing at the same time as the New Republic.

Hello PPSW. I wanted to propose the theory "What if Shaak ti was Ahsoka's own mother. I think this factor would play an important role at the moment when Ahsoka is accused of blowing up the temple. Shaak ti, as well as Anakin, will want to protect Ahsoka. Then if Ahsoka leaves, Shaak ti will try to establish contact with her. In my opinion, it will be interesting. What do you think?
