Great advise! Listen to NPR, so that you will sound like an informed, intelligent person, when you converse with people. When playing jazz, make sure it is easy, smooth jazz, and not crazy, acid jazz. People do tend to behave, when they hear sophisticated music. There have been numerous studies, where patrons spend more money, at restaurants, that play classical music ( try chamber or baroque). People think they are at a nicer place, and are expected to spend more money.

As to politics, in 2019 I had a rider that engaged me with his support of Biden and he trashed Trump. Being a knowledgeable Trump supporter, I refuted every falsehood he offered. He got quiet and departed upon arrival. Not 10 minutes later I got a call from Uber stating that I presented a hostile environment and made the rider feel uncomfortable. It was a warning.

the biggest mistake I ever made was eating my free 6" sub entirely in one sitting. I now bag the thing and take one bite per day only. I now have lunch for a full week! I will keep those tips in mind.. next time I go out will put those tips in practice.. o usually share my personal story, the reason why I do it.. and I get lots of tips.. However there are time when people get drunk they can become really offensive toward the driver.. I had a guy calling stupid and the N word I kept calm.. his girl gave me a good tip.. but I was about to report him but since she was the one to request the ride. I left things alone.. this past on Wednesday 11/27/19 a left driver got into my line and hit my car just because he wanted to make a right turn from while riding on the left side of the road.. I was in the middle lane.. so I’ll be out of business for a while.. thanks for the tip Mr Hill
