Stacy Chaplin is such a gracious lady. She has chosen to live her new normal with class and duty. She is a wonderful mother, while mourning her son, Ethan, she still nurtures her living children, and has found a way to keep Ethan’s memory and legacy alive.
👍🙏🏻⚖️

It's so important to reach out to those who lose a child. I'll never forget the first person, outside of family, who spoke to me about my son's death. It was such a relief because everyone avoided the topic and that avoidance felt so isolating.

Thank you so much for shining light on Ethan and his family. I feel like a few of the victims got lost in all of this. Their lives mattered just as much as the others that have had major spotlights. They all have families left behind. They all mattered.
Stacy truly is a class act. Amazing woman.

Ethan's parents seem like amazing people. I'm glad they are keeping things as positive as possible.

They are a family together before, during, and after. Family gives them strength.

I love her saying she wants people to talk about Ethan.

Years ago, early in the morning I found out my coworker/friend's daughter and her daughter's friend were missing after they had celebrated the last day of school at a local lake the day before. Later that afternoon both of their bodies were found and it was an absolutely horrible thing our community went through. I used to always avoid talking about the daughter to my coworker and her husband thinking it would cause them pain. Then finally one day her husband (who was also a close friend of mine) told me they want people to talk about her. They want people to share memories and keep her memory alive. They explained that they feel better when people talk about her. I am forever grateful that they explained that to me so moving forward, I'm not afraid to talk about other's loved ones that have passed. 💙💙

Ethan’s parents and siblings are truly amazing! God bless them. I don’t know how they can go on. Definitely getting the book.

What a beautiful tribute to Ethan by writing a book about him. What an amazing mother Stacy Chaplin is.
I lost my daughter 6 months ago when she went to sleep and never woke up. I am broken hearted. It is hard when people don’t mention my daughter. It makes me feel sad and lonely. Even though I may cry when talking about her, sharing memories helps me so much.

The tattoo his mom has of his hand writing made me tear up. Such a senseless loss.

I love seeing such a beautiful tribute for Ethan. So many mainly focus on a couple of the girls. His eyes and smile shows how special he was and he had a beautiful soul

Honestly hearing Ethan’s mom speak, I don’t think they will seek the death penalty because their family seems to be so compassionate and driven towards moving on and doing positive things in Ethan’s memory instead of staying in the past and dwelling and wasting their energy on the sadness and negativity of what happened to them. Her focus is to keep Ethan’s memory alive and as positive as possible.

Wow! What a strong woman! I know I wouldn't be this positive and go on with life this "easy". She's right, you have to do your best and keep making the other kids feel good in their new reality. She's amazing!

49:57 you are right! Direction of car has no bearing in whether guns were pointed at him or not and still be threatened.

The Chapin family is a model example for those who experience unimaginable grief. Sometimes these situations tear the parents apart and the rest of the family suffers. It is wonderful to see their bond become stronger and do good things in his honor.

My daughters best friend Hollie passed away 7 years ago at just 26 and her Mom was touched by the stories we told her about our memories of her daughter, I still check in with her on a weekly basis.

This interview really touched me. I had the privilege of raising twin sons. The first born died at the age of 32 and his twin died 11 months later at 33. So, yes, twins and multiples share a unique and close bond. Ethan's mom gave a great interview and she shared her son's true heart. I can't wait to read her book. My heart breaks for Ethan's brother and sister. I'm sure their bond has only become stronger as they navigate life without their triplet Ethan.

Came to you through the Depp/Heard case and never looked back…remember at that time so many lawtubers covering the case…I was all over them..but you offered such independent and unbiased analysis..that was it for me😊💕

I have triplets and live close to the Chapin family (we do not know them) and it hits hard in a different way for us. Sending much love to the families of the victims.

Thanks Peter for taking time to update us during this very busy week for you. Stacy Chaplin is a very classy lady full of compassion, empathy and resilience. Respect to her for all the courage she shows during this unbearable ordeal 🙏🙏🙏
As for Travis Rudolph, he should not be found guilty, he did not look for such provocation and anyone would have done the same seeing his brother is in serious danger. If he had not, he would have felt guilty and regretted for the rest of his life. Not to forget that those kind of men would have come back if not for the commotion related to this shooting. If he is convicted, then I dont understand what self-defense is all about...
