Re-watch crew here! I'm a Londoner, so the live was in the middle of my work day, but I'm so glad I caught up. I love it! I especially love the passion you showed for the rights of the defendant! You always do, but for this one, you were on fire! However, I completely disagree with you😁. I think the motion was extremely persuasive, both through the law and common sense. But as you say, there are arguments on both sides. I am very impressed with the way the state presented their arguments. They took the defences request very seriously! All in all, it is a very enjoyable video. I can't wait to see if you’reright!😁❤️🇬🇧

DNA should always be investigated by defense to check for accuracy.

I think there is something to the informant protection. If it was a sister or a parent or a closer cousin there could be real world repercussions to some family members in maybe not this case but other cases.

A quick comment after the live. Some websites will not let you print screen certain pages. This could possibly why it wasn't done.

@Peter...thanks for staying on top of this...I have some questions....

Under the US Constitution, does the Criminal Defendant have a right to ANY and ALL evidence, methods, testing, etc used by LE to obtain search warrants and an arrest warrant for the Criminal Defendant accused of the crime?

Why would the Defendant's Counsel NOT be entitled to everything LE used and claims led them to their suspect? How can Defense Counsel provide adequate Defense without ALL evidence etc used by LE and presented to the GJ to secure an indictment?

Since when is it NOT DOJ Policy for the FBI to document any and all communications with another LE agency the FBI is assisting?

Thank You!!

What if the state is trying to protect the identity of a close family relative that dimed-out BK as a potential suspect?

I love the way you look at everything and explain everything, . I hope the judge thinks like you.

It seems like the genealogy angle didn’t lead to enough to make an arrest, so they needed the DNA from the trash to compare to the DNA from the sheath. Once that was done, they were able to determine the DNA on the sheath had to be from a child of the person the DNA in the trash came from, BK’s father. Once they arrested BK, they collected his DNA directly, so they could show it was his DNA on the sheath. I don’t think the genealogy stuff makes a difference with the conclusion. It was just a path they took during the investigation that didn’t lead them to a conclusion. I think the defense is just grasping at straws with this.

You're amazing. I can't believe you got thru and explained all that so quickly.

I'd be interested to know if there was blood on the sheath from the victims.... I mean I feel like there would have to be...
