Definitely subscribed. I like your channel, you include your family in at least every video I watched so far. Good job brother. Keep up the good work.

Best DIY adjustable flattening jig video on YouTube. You should sell the detailed plans.

Thank you! I'm using a power hand-planer right now, & am basically eye-balling everything. This would save me a lot of physical energy.

I enjoy working with oak slabs and planks. I'm glad you created a way to make uniform surfaces because I cannot afford a planer that big!

Subscribed because this is literally the best Flattening Router rig I’ve seen, and I honestly thought I’d seen all of them. If only YouTube recommended this one first the time I would have saved watching videos of poorer designs.

Well done! I've watched a number of different vids with sled designs and this one is the best. Simple, low cost, adjustable, low space impact in the workshop. Great job mate!
(I made one using your recipe... Only issue I found was my router handles hitting the end walls... So I cut enough out to cater.)

I need to make a new flattening jig as I just bought a 2" flattening bit. I used a 3/4" bit but it took forever on longer pieces. I like the adjustable rails because once in awhile I'd run out of depth on my old rails. You make great videos don't stop. Your strongest floating shelf vid is great.

Nice and simple build. Love your take on the adjustability. I've watched hundreds of these router sled videos and yours is the most elegant and apparently, easiest to use to set the depth with those slots and measured spacer blocks. So cool. Thanks for this video.

I just stumbled onto this video after I built a sled that looks nothing like yours. I wish I would have seen this first... I just subscribed because of this design, it looks awesome !!

Nice sled man I like it ! It’s simple and adjustable. The easier it is to use the more it will be used .

That deserves a subscription to the channel.
I have watched to many videos about router sleds and had an issue with all of them. This one is perfect. 👍🏻

Oh man, this gives me a great idea for an adaptation of the clampable side rails! I have to build a quick and dirty flattening jig to get one project done first, but when I get to build my big assembly table I'll try out my idea and let you know if it works out!

Thanks for sharing!

Great idea. I've always had to take my piece to a large cabinet shop to use their huge table belt sander. Definitely gonna build one. Thanks for the video.

Nice design. I was looking for a simple way to make the rail height adjustable instead of piling the workpiece up on scrap blocks as I've seen in several other similar videos. There's probably also a way to make the cleats at the ends of the sled adjustable too (or just one of them), so you could narrow the distance between the rails when flattening smaller pieces.
