My New Metal Detector. Minelab Go Find 60

Hi everyone. This is just a short video to show you my new Metal Detector. Minelab Go Find 60. This is just an entry level Detector, turn on & Go. It's more for Alfie & my youngest Zac. It's does exactly what it says on the tin. So far it's doing great.

I've now sold my XP DEUS as I only hunt pasture & beaches, which is more suited to the Minelab CTX 3030.

I had a look at one of these in Maplins.  It feels like a machine for occasional/holiday hunts and I was worried about the build quality over time.  One thing that did strike me though was how brilliant it would be for children, especially with the graphic on the screen.  I reckon Alfie will love it mate and I hope we see some good finds in the coming weeks.  I love the compatibility with phones which gives you the earphone option too.  All the best mate.

I like the idea of detectors which fold right down as they are good for taking abroad on holiday. If it was waterproof and would operate in saltwater I'd buy one myself as I use the ATX and it has already been mistaken for a gun twice (no joke). It is incredible under the sea but the GoFind 60 would be a great one for the dry sand and recently dropped stuff.

Nice video mate decent machine the 60 I used one for a while to see if they did actually work and guess what I found hammies and romans with it..works well down on the beach to mate 👌🏻

Hi Neil, looks a decent little machine, as you say its a switch on and go, and sometimes that's all you want to do, instead of messing about with settings.... see you said the Deus as gone now, mine went last week, and I am quite happy, I feel confident and relaxed with the 400... a few people said to do a recovery test with the 400, so that will be in my next vid, would be a good idea to do a depth and recovery test with the go find, just to help anyone out who might be thinking of buying one...

If you take it to the beach can you let us know how it performs, would be good to get an honest review, I was thinking of getting one for the beach, I like the way it folds down to nearly nothing so will go in the car with all the other family beach essentials lol

If only minelab can make something like this that detect gold or gold nuggets without the price getting to high, but i am buying this next week

Hi coin meister, for midgies take odourless garlic tablets 1 a day or use the PUMP spray jungle formula. Spray in hands and rub skin and hair. I’ve fished in some of the worst midgie places in Scotland and they never bothered me once I sprayed up.

Looks fairly easy to fit in most little rucksacks which is good, just a spade to match the machine and I could pop to the Beach for an hour after work without having to carry loads of gear lol
