The very useful basic advice you offer is appreciated, so thank you for that… BUT the majority of people viewing this video cannot afford to pay $360 every month for your brand skin care products! Those who can afford it without any problem are those who can see surgeons like you anyways for procedures… You mention your own wife as an example regarding good sun protection but please…she also has access to exquisite skin care and treatments as well! A truly helpful video would offer suggestions of affordable but effective alternative products and how to use them properly…This certainly would keep many of us from trying and accumulating one product after another as you mentioned…and NO your products STILL wouldn’t be anywhere near affordable in exchange!

I am a 60 year old woman who usually gets mistaken for a 45 year old woman . I have always been consistent with my skincare routine since I was a teenager. I’ve never been able to tan, which I realized very early, like age 15, so I just avoided the sun during the most direct times of the day. I looked into your skincare line, and although the products look to be good quality, the prices are, I must say, quite high to say the least. I guess I will continue with what I’ve been doing for years.

I have lived in the desert southwest all my life and so did my older sister and mother. Both were very fair skinned. My mom passed at age 87, and hardly had a wrinkle, my sister passed at 70, and had beautiful skin. They both pretty much stayed out of the sun. I’m 63 and have no wrinkles although I personally haven’t been so sun shy and rarely, if ever used sunscreen. Long story short, just good genes, I guess.

Could you possibly do a skin care routine for menopausal ladies (over50’s) please, I follow your advice religiously, but how to apply actives in routine (layering actives) would be very appreciated and helpful 😊

I am an RN and a dermatologist visited an older patient in the hospital to evaluate a suspicious lesion and pointed out the ‘farmer’s tan’ that the man had on his neck that looked like tough, dark, old, dried shoe leather with deep crevices while his back which had been covered by a shirt most of his life was pale and smooth. It was around 1980 when sunscreen didn’t have the same importance that it did then, but I wore hats and sunscreen. Several years later I worked for a plastic surgeon and again saw visible sun damage when 40+ year olds were bringing in their 60+ year old moms for face lifts and other procedures. While the older women were of different generation who didn’t worship the sun, their skin was in better shape even though sagging had occurred. Their daughters usually had tans with more lines, especially if they were smokers and the skin alone made them look older than they were. I’m in my 60’s and even now, the only consistent skin regimen was sunscreen for 40+ years and even under harsh dental lights, hygenists comment about how good my skin looks. I never wore anything on my face except sunscreen and eye makeup and still don’t. I also found out that fluorescent lights can cause skin damage so sunscreen is beneficial even when working inside. Preventing sun damage is by far the best thing you can do for your skin.

My face aged backwards I look younger now than I did 13 years ago I’m 60 this year! Be patient! don’t give up! These tips work and your diet is really important too watch your sugar, it will age you faster too! It causes glycation! Cut out white flour and anything with processed oils, all the oil that yellow at the store it’s highly processed and terrible ..use good quality olive oil, Avocado oil, macadamia oil .. much sodium from table salt it terrible too! Use Redmonds sea salt it’s better! Eat your greens!!

Consistency! The word of the century! I wanted to try your Trifecta products, but unfortunately, I'm 67 and retired. Just can't afford it. But I can afford consistency when it comes to taking care of my skin.❤

How important is cleansing in the morning really? Is it bad to have actives on your skin from the night before? I feel like my skin feels more balanced when I don't over cleanse.

My mother is 76 years old and has been using the simple Nivea cream for over 50 years and looks 60 years old. Nothing else....no expensive creams and products that only make us more wrinkled from high prices...

I’m 53. I have been wearing sunscreen daily winter and summer for about a decades and used a basic cocoa butter with vitamin E morning and night and I don’t have many wrinkles. Now I’ve added actives, exfoliation with ahas, and even better moisturiser and the few wrinkles I did have look lessened. So at any age, it’s worth starting to do the things the dr recommends in this video.

I’m an African American women in my mid 40’s who didn’t start wearing sun protection till I was in my 30’s which helped a lot. The best regimen I found was sunscreen, lots of moisture, retinol and getting a chemical peel 2x a year

I’ve been in the process of undoing years of sun worship. I started sunscreen about 5 years ago, at age 54. My skin looks much more luminous with using actives, sunscreen, some lasers, and now microneedling. It’s definitely an uphill battle undoing all the damage I did.

Question… love your content, I already do everything you reco and despite my *advanced age* 😎 I love my skin. The only thing I don’t think I’ve seen you address is the effect of LED light, specifically at-home devices. Would love to hear your perspective.

I am 57 and grew up in Southern Ca. near Newport Beach. My skin looks really great for my age and what I put it through when I was young. This is partly my genetics but I have always used good skin care and I am consistent with actives and sunscreen. People never guess my age. I worked for a cosmetic line when I was young and I noticed some of the older ladies who had been using the products for years, had the most beautiful skin. I now know one of the biggest reasons was the foundation had zinc oxide as one of the top ingredients. Sun protection is huge!

I have been using your trifecta and polish since the day they launched. I am going to be 73 in the spring, and I get compliments all the time on my complexion. I don’t wear make up, just a tinted moisturizer with a high SPF. I would never trade your products in for anything else!🎉

Double cleanse AM & PM, no steam during facials, and no exfoliating scrubs. The peel off Korean mask is more gentle on skin surface. A lot of facial changes occur as we age primarily due to the way we sleep - squashing our faces on the sides will eventually cause the skin to stretch and gravity pulls it down. The jawline will be the first to be affected. There's a great difference between those who sleep on their backs - facial shape basically change very little thru the years. What do you think on this sleeping point?

I really like your approach to skin care. There is a lot of good old fashioned common sense involved. Staying away from the sun unless you are protected with sunscreen is huge and also a clean lifestyle. It works! Cleaning the skin first in the morning and again before you go to bed is worth it's weight in gold. My Cousin is a retired Registered Nurse from the Mediterranean and is now 74 years old. Excellent skin care routine as well as The Mediterranean diet .., will not go outside usually without a hat. I'm not talking a tiny hat either but a substantial size like a bucket hat. Yes it can muss your hair so you need to take a comb with you. Not a big deal.
