I did want to add if you have a drawer full of Matte lipstick’s like I do, you can always just use a Gloss topper and still enjoy the shades.

Your so beautiful. I decided to stop wearing makeup. After long research and trial and errors I discovered high quality derma pen and started doing sessions at home. that little device changed my skin in a way that nothing else did. My fine lines have disappeared completely, and my nasolabial folds are way less prominent/nonexist. People often underestimate the power of wounding and the revolutionary effects it can have on the skin.

I really liked this, and I have subscribed now. No annoying music, straight to the point information, 3 different expense levels of cosmetics, and no long winded stories that need to be skipped through, and a pleasant, clear speaking voice. Wonderful presentation ! Thank you ☺️

Just found your channel and subscribed IMMEDIATELY!
54 years old here, gave up on wearing makeup over a decade ago, because I just hated how nothing looked good when I was done. I'm just now understanding that the only makeup schooling I've ever had was from 17 Magazine back in the day. Lordy...
Your work hits every note of what we need. Simplicity, ease, fast and perfect.
So yeah... you're my makeup mom now. Love you!!!❤️

Thank you for the part about still wearing eye liner under your eye! So many over 50 make up tutorials tell us not line our lower lid/lashes because it ages you and closes the eye, but I think not lining it makes me look washed out and makes my eyes look small. Lining underneath gives your eyes emphasis and makes them look bigger and more youthful.

I like that you include inexpensive products too for those of us who can’t afford high end products. Thx so much!

Thank you. I’m 72 and always wore makeup. I kind of stopped 5 years ago when my 91 year old mom died. I realize how much older I look with no blending and definitely eyebrows. My own brows got very sparse. I’m going to the store and buying new makeup.😊Thank you.❤

I'm one of the women you talk about at the beginning of this video: I don't wear any makeup because I don't have confidence in my ability to apply it and I fear overdoing things, ending up looking like a mature woman trying to be 18 again! Appreciate the straightforward advice. The photos of your friends/clients were helpful. I'm actually going to go out to buy a few products and give them a try because of this video...😬

Hi. Just followed the routine. My husband, sawing a hole out of a darkened shed (!), asked if I had been doing my make-up, as I looked more fresh-faced and beautiful than ever"! He never comments normally!! Thank you Monique!

I just discovered this channel. I stopped watching the "over 50" makeup tutorials a while ago because the routines and application methods were crazy and time-consuming. When you did your one-and-done eye makeup, I knew I had found my people! Products that don't cost an arm and a leg, easy application, and gorgeous, youthful results. Thanks, Lisa, I'm hooked!

I just accidentally discovered this channel and I realized you’re talking to me. I’ve often wondered how I got to be 62 and I don’t know how to use makeup. I didn’t think about the fact that I didn’t need it when I was young. I ask my daughter and granddaughter and they’re on a different planet when it comes to makeup. I like that you don’t use expensive products I’ve never heard of. Thank you!

I really enjoyed this video! I am 72. I was born a blonde with very blonde eyelashes and eyebrows-in other words, invisible! No color at all on my face. I started wearing makeup at 16 and never looked back. I love looking as good as I can every day.
I agreed with everything you said, especially about the lash serum, mascara and eyeliner. Such good advice! Thank you!!

These are great tips! I followed what you taught through the whole video. I looked and felt great. When my husband of 35 years came home that evening, he made a comment about how good I looked, how nice! Thank you so much, I have been struggling with makeup application since I turned 50 ten years ago! Thank you a million times over for this life changing instructional video.

Thank you for the tips! One thing I've never been able to master is eyeliner 😒. I heard once that women over 40 shouldn't wear brown makeup, and I tend to agree...but I do like the idea of rose gold eye shadow...I'll look for some!

I stopped wearing makeup in March 2020 when the pandemic started and I went freelance. I definitely needed a basic overview of how to do it! I'm 62 and I want to remain vibrant and relevant. Thank you!

You're absolutely right! I pretty much stopped wearing makeup around my mid 30's. Maybe a bit of powder & some mascara, but that was it. So now some years later, I've actually forgotten how to wear makeup & tbh, I've gone so long without it, I wasn't sure where to start. I didn't want to suddenly look like an older woman trying to look like a 20 year old. So I appreciate you saying that older women don't wear enough. You might be the only Youtuber saying that. Thank you x

25 year old here. The trend report you read is correct🤣 its the year of blush and crazy blush colors and using lots of blush everywhere! I love it. I always loved blush. My mom got me started on her OG cover girl mauve blush when I was a young teen and I always adored the way it brought life and youth into the face.

Awesome info though. Makes me wanna help my mom update her makeup skill and show her a few nice, simple products. She always looks nice when she does her makeup but I know she's feeling "old" and out of touch and I feel like showing her some really nice non-drugstore makeup and how to use them would boost her self image a bit

just wanted to give you a thank you shout out. Went out last night and did my eye makeup the way you taught me. Saw an old friend, and the first thing she said was "your eyes look beautiful" 🤩

I'm in my mid-thirties, and the advice about evening out of the skin color around/under/on the nose is spot on. I realize nowadays it's generally the only makeup I'll apply (along with under my eyes and my eyelids). Quite an effective short step, that makes a remarkable enhancement (for me at least)

I appreciate this video. I just saw a photo of myself and realized exactly what you said- I am not wearing enough makeup! I look washed out and blah. I am going to up my game- thanks for your tips.
