Thanks for sharing, my fire stick wasn't working properly, and the volume was extremely low. Even going into the setting and changing some of the audio did not work. I had to restart it, then unplug it, and then go back into the settings for the audio and that worked. Thanks for sharing It was driving me crazy. I was starting to think i was going deaf haha

Not good idea to watch movies. The problem here is When you select "Best Available sound" as audio option in firestick, It send Dolby audio to sound system. Its volume level is very less than PCM. But If you select 'Best Available Sound' in an android TV/device, It will send PCM and will be loud and clear. They dont send Dolby audio. Either PCM or Dolby digital/digital plus/atmos etc.

Main problem here is, We dont want firestick to send Dolby audio when we choose 'Best available option' (Like Android/Google TVs). We want PCM for listening stereo sound (Like music), and Dolby digital/atmos sound for movies. Its difficult to toggle between PCM and 'Best Available' option in firestick everytime we watch a movie OR music.

If you have surround sound you should not be using PCM. PCM is stereo audio.
