what ACTUALLY WORKED for me folks is to "reset network settings" in the general management tab. you're welcome :)

Didn't work. On my phone, it says "Enable Absolute Volume.". I've tried it toggled both on and off and it made no difference.

My phone doesn't even seem to have this absolute volume setting :(

This didn't work for me. I restarted my phone first. When that didn't work then I went into my headphones booklet and it showed me how to reset them. Then I forgot them on the phones blue tooth options and reconnected like they were brand new headphones and now they are louder. Hope that helps.

It didn't work for me until I restarted the phone. This wasn't mentioned in the tutorial and perhaps should be 💖

Finding it was a little different (using Pixel 7), but I was able to figure it out and find the "disable absolute volume" option! Thank you!

Xbox headset and oppo r15 pro. Absolute volume was on. Disable that did nothing, nor did bluetooth off and on, nor unpairing and re-pairing. Then tried disabling phone call audio for the bluetooth headset (so only Media was selected), unpaired, re-paires, and even tho phone audio is enabled again, the problem was fixed, loud audio now! Idk why that worked but yay anyway!

Worked for me. Thanks!
A few comments - the volume increase is small, so it might not be noticed at first.
More importantly, one must turn bluetooth off then on after changing the settings, or the change won't happen.
Hope this helps!

The name might be vary but the key is "absolute volume" is disabled / turn off, only need basic logic. after changing the setting, you need to restart the phone to get the effect

Just reset your buds from your phone and connect them again all it takes

For me guys it's the opposite ....the bluetooth audio became much much louder at max volume after *enabling* Absolute Volume so make sure to check both ways

This didn't work, and neither did a couple of other workarounds posted on YouTube. Unpairing and repairing the bluetooth headphones worked. Should have done that first it would have saved me an hour.

turning on the Disable absolute volume function on my A55 did not change anything, even after a restart. Also, it doesn't make sense that turning on the high volume limit will increase the volume...

I had a Note 9 before and my Sesh ANC Bluetooth was much much louder. I changed all system options including developer options on the S23 phone and at the phones max Bluetooth volume it was still very quiet in comparison. I then found out that unlike my Note 9, the volume control (double press) on my Sesh ANC Bluetooth no longer controlled the Phone Bluetooth volume, but independently controlled the Bluetooth headset. Once I set the ANC Bluetooth volume (Double Press) to the highest setting and the phone Bluetooth volume to the highest setting it was the same as my note 9 -hope this helps
