FIX Volume Too Low on Windows.

Low PC volume isn’t an entirely uncommon scenario in Windows. In most cases, there are relatively straightforward fixes for software sound that doesn’t match up with the Windows volume bar level. If your laptop’s or desktop’s audio is lower than what you would usually expect, these are a few resolutions that will probably restore the volume level in Windows.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, and Samsung.

I fixed this!
1. In search bar, type "troubleshoot" and open "troubleshoot settings"
2. At the bottom, click "Additional troubleshooters"
3. Click "playing audio", and then "run troubleshooter"
4. If it plays a sound, then asks if it was good or bad, click bad. It will reinstall driver
5. It will now play a sound again and ask if it was good or bad. Under bad, it should say "install Intel HD audio driver" or something similar. Click that
6. After a system restart, if still quiet, go to settings again, click system, then click sound, then on the right click "Sound control panel". Click on your playback device that is too quiet. Click "properties". At the top you should now see an "enhancements" tab. Click that and check "loudness equilization" and hit apply.

Bam! You should now be back to regular. Sometimes after that, choosing bass management, and hitting apply again can make it louder. I hope this helps. Took me a whole day to get my audio back to normal volume. I hope it doesn't take you as long as it took me

I unplugged my headphones and then plugged them back in. It worked fyi to anyone not trying to watch a whole video.

My laptop was perfectly fine and loud and then my dad plugged in his speakers and now that shits broken

Thank you! The one that worked for me was the third one, where I went to the trouble shooter settings and had it play test sounds. It reinstalled the sound device thing and now it's a lot better!

The problem I have is,
Back then it used to be super loud so I only put it on 50 volume and that was loud enough.
Now it's 100 volume and it's the equivalent of 20 volume. Help!!

To those watching, I figured something with a game i'd been playing, l4d2, i added some mods, audio mods, and such. and one time it messed and cut the audio, ONE TIME. Since then i had the issue, I thought maybe it could be that Something a game, or app. Had messed with an audio file, it could effect the system itself.

I deleted all mods, and restarted the computer, 20 volume is like 100 when it was broken.

I suggest recording this video again. The microphone is humming deeply, the troubleshoot section is way too long. Users HATE watching wait-bars...
