All Sects Of Islam Are Haram

Sunni, shia, ahmedi, Sufi, all of you sectarians divided the ummah. Come to the real religion of Islam where it says being in a sect is haram. Go read your Quran!

Sunni is not a sect, it’s the main default “Setting”. Sunni is basically a Muslim who follow the quran(Allahs word) and the sunnah(Prophets words and actions). Therefore it’s not a sect but just what a muslim must be.

It was narrated from ‘Awf bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said:

“The Jews split into seventy-one sects, one of which will be in Paradise and seventy in Hell. The Christians split into seventy-two sects, seventy-one of which will be in Hell and one in Paradise. I swear by the One Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, my nation will split into seventy-three sects, one of which will be in Paradise and seventy-two in Hell.”

I was reading the Quran last week, and I came across that same part that specifically says do not branch off into different sects. My eyebrows raise because I’m new to learning Islam and there seems to be different sects. I am not done reading the Quran yet, but I’m just trying to do what Allah has instructed.

Sunni isn't a sect, rather it's a name to distinguish from the other sects.And the fact that you said Sunnis don't follow Quran nor Prophet Muhammad is completely wrong my beloved brother.
Sunni or Ahlussunah wal Jamaah follow both Quran and Sunnah so it isn't a sect.And we don't call ourselves Sunni, we call ourselves Muslims who follow Quran and Sunnah.
