My brain definitely changes when I'm in love versus when I'm not in love. I swear every time I go through a breakup that my whole life gets ripped apart. I start acting super dysfunctional and not only ruin relationships with the girl I used to love but sometimes I lose relationships with friends and even family members while I'm going through a break up. I basically turn into a total mess during a break up and because of this I have done everything in my power to go through another break up again. I've been dating the same girl for 3 years or so and more than anything I just don't want to go through a break up because I know my whole life will get messed up if a break up happens. Anyway, nice video!!

If more people understood the actual scientific process of love and hate, then we would have a lot less heartbreak. It's only when you believe that feelings reflect reality that you make stupid decisions. Love and hate feed off of each other and cause terrible things, it would be better to have neither.

I've never been in love. I've felt that butterflies in the stomach excitement when going out with someone new, but that's all. Never passion, never "love". Not sure, but I'd assume it's the same as loving a relative, except with romance. I've always stuck to logic when dating, never raw emotions.

So this study was on romantic feelings, because I love my Math but i don' think i will get the same neurological reaction.

Also I have always know love to be a choice like hate. One does not fall in love but chooses to love or not too.
