Fun fact, Sun Wukong’s technique “the 72 earthy transformations”, which is was taught to him by his master, doesn’t actually allow him to turn into only 72 different things. It allows him to transform into anything, including a stronger version of himself, his enemies, literally anything and his clones share this ability. The reason it’s called the 72 earthly transformations is because it allows him to transform into anything and grants him 72 lives, plus if he does die, he comes back stronger. So if by some miracle you can get past his layers of immortality, you still have to kill him 72 times and he gets stronger each time and he can just let his clones do the work. So Goku is trying to fight a guy who earned the title of Fighting Buddha, who can become stronger than him whenever he wants, can copy his opponents strength and fighting style in an instant, can summon literally armies of himself who can do everything he can, has seven layers of immortality and 72 lives on top of that. I’m sorry for the long post, but Sun Wukong makes any form of goku look like Yamcha.
