You forgot one thing, Try adding Guest additions. Boosts up performance and makes screen bigger.

Skipping Microsoft account without unplugging your virtual network adapter:

Step 1: Once you reach the Microsoft account login screen, click "Create a new account".
Step 2: After you reach the Create a Microsoft acount screen, click "Sign in without a Microsoft account".
Step 3: Now you can create your local account.

You can create a local account, select the create account option then try to use an email that already has a Microsoft account, then it'll tell you "you're having some difficulty, we'll just have you make a local account for now..."

Yes you can have a local account right away, just unplug from the internet and so microsoft can't force you to sign in during that process
