Fourier Series: Finding a Fourier Series Representation of a Function
In this video, I demonstrate how to find the Fourier Series representation of a simple piecewise function with a period of 2. The process is lengthy but essential to understand for anyone studying Fourier analysis and its applications. Although I do not provide a proof for the coefficients' formulas, I use the theoretical background from earlier videos (check out the playlist for more). By the end of this video, you'll be able to break down a function into its Fourier series components and gain insight into the representation of periodic functions.
If you enjoy my videos and find them helpful, please subscribe, like, comment, and share with your friends, teachers, or parents! Your support helps the channel grow, and I truly appreciate it!
What You Will Learn:
How to find the Fourier coefficients for a piecewise function.
How to set up and evaluate the integrals for coefficients.
Understanding the sine and cosine series that make up a Fourier series.
Applying the formulas for a_n and b_n and a_0 to represent a function.
