Some guys would have turned that into a 4 hour video spanning a 7 part series. Thanks for a short and sweet tip! Lol

Moral of the story:
Pull out when about to spill
Keep it in when you don't plan on spilling.

Some free advice: always make sure you have your fill
Port loose before opening your drain port. It sucks to find out your fill port is seized or the plug is stripped after you drained all
Your fluid.

Love what you said, "Sometimes it just doesn't have to be difficult !" And you know that's true. Seen several of you guys having to change the FINAL DRIVE. Makes changing the oil so much more beneficial. Wonder how many viewers will be changing oil in something thanks to you showing the path? Good job & Thanks for another. Sonny

I always open the fill plug to release any pressure (caused by either the ambient temp rising or having the finals hot/warm from using), if there’s pressure in there and you loosen the bottom one first, that shit will blow all over you and make a damn mess...

I appreciate keeping it clean as much as getting it done quick. So much nicer when there's no mess to clean up after

Even though he wants you to do the bottom one first you better crack the top one loose first to ensure once you drain the fluid you can fill it back up nothing worse than draining it and then you can't get the fill hole open

Not trying to
Be rude or anything good video I am a heavy equipment mechanic as well and I would not always say do bottom plug first. In certain options machine that’s been running all day long and the operator has to down it for the service I recommend pulling the top plug first to release all the pressure From in the final drives or you will get one good surprise pulling that drain plug first.! And also I would recommend after fluid drips out the level port put level plug in and let the fluid settle and then check again sometimes after letting the fluid settle you are actually able to add more!

Simple and to the point Dirt Boss. That's a maintenance item that is often overlooked, but very important! No one wants to pay for new or reman final drives!
