Yes let's slow down how many other people we just let in. We are going to loose all trees but national forests. That's horrifying. That's not the main issue here. BEFORE MASS IMMIGRATION FROM ANYWHERE AND OTHER PROVINCES TO MINE HAS DESTROYED THE DREAMS OF MOST LOCALS TO EVER GET A HOME WHERE THEY WERE BORN.

That certainly is a step in the right direction. We also have to stop immigration for an x number of years and limit or stop large investment firms from buying up property. The latter may be an exercise in futility. But I worry a company like Blackrock will just buy all the land and develop rental homes on it.

Haven't decided who I'm voting for yet, but he's wrong about affordability of housing due to Trudeau. It was already unaffordable in Vancouver with Harper. In 2012, three years before Trudeau, the average Vancouver home was $1.087 million for a one storey bungalow, and $1.179 million for a two storey, according to Royal Lepage. Median BC income of 25-54 back then was $47, 600.

Gotten worse every year, but it has been happening for longer than the liberal government. I moreso blame our provincial government

"Affordable" homes will never be built because they are not profitable for developers. Any government incentives only increases profitability for developers and affordable homes will still not be built. Assuming the simply increasing the supply of homes by building more will drive down the pricing is ridiculous and all politicians supporting this narrative are likely on the payroll of developers. The real issue is income. If you want to afford a property, make more money. It's your problem to figure out, not the government.

I agree with just about everything he's saying. I also agree with George Carlin if you want another place to the house the homeless look at golf courses.
