Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre asked the Liberal government during question period in the House of Commons on Wednesday about GC Strategies, an IT firm which received a total of $258 million from the Trudeau government since 2015, according to an Auditor General's report.

“One ArriveCAN company received a quarter of a billion dollars in contracts. It’s a company with four employees, headquartered in the basement of a tiny cottage. They got IT contracts even though they admit they do no IT work. A quarter of a billion dollars? W—T—F,” said Poilievre.

“In this case, the auditor general has highlighted some very concerning questions that need to be answered,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau replied.

How are any of these people held accountable? They're held less accountable than actual criminals! INSANE.

$258, 000, 000. To a couple of dudes. In a cottage. For IT services. But they don't do IT stuff. And you can't afford food and rent.

We do not need firing, apologies nor resignations. We need criminal investigation and jail

Quarter of a billion gone and they’re worried about “parliamentary language”. Again a quarter of a billion dollars, for an app.

Those 4 employees must have been very good friends of Justin. Any kickbacks here?

I’m sitting here. 23. Bachelors degree. No hope for ever owning a house in a million years. Paying tax on $1, 300 I make biweekly. Seeing this is torture

I’m an American and somehow I have stumbled into this black hole of watching the Canadian version of PMQ — and not one time have I heard Justin Trudeau actually ever answer a question.
Is this commonplace?
