The more I learn his commandments the more my eyes are open to those who have not learned. Many people hide behind false righteousness these days. My bro is in a mega church and I see no wisdom there. His commandments are pretty simple and straightforward to me. We all fall short

Motivation is everything. Mere obedience has many reasons. God wants and deserves a people that obey BECAUSE they love Him. Yeshua Jesus the Christ, Emmanuel ( God with us ) .... and now IN us deserves nothing less.

Luke 10:25-28 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher, ” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”

27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[c]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d]”

Why didn’t Jesus say wrong do this and the other 10 and you will live ? He wouldn’t lie or lead anyone in the wrong direction.

No one is keeping the the ten commandments of God, because the ten commandments of God have ordinances, statutes, and judgments to perform..

If you are under the ten commandments of God and you don't follow through with the ordinances, the statutes, and judgments of the ten commandments of God, you make the ten commandments of God of none effect...

Jesus said in Mark 16:16 Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature . He who believes and is baptized will be saved. This is one of his commandments.

Love God and love others = The 10 Commandments. Jesus said if you love me you will obey my commandments. Do not be deceived the righteous will inherit the kingdom of God. 2028end.

He meant "keep my commandments." That has nothing to do with salvation, though. Salvation is a free gift that is by grace through faith alone. Keeping his commandments requires us to preach the gospel to every creature. That's not grievous, but it's not easy either.

Theres a difference between doing and keeping. If I am keeping you then I have you with me. If you commanded me to do this or that and I do it then thats doing. If Jesus Christ commanded me to preach naked obviously I wouldn’t do it because I am ashamed of my nakedness or other reasons. But if I keep it, I think on it and not let go of it, but keep it.(The things he says) See? I do the same thing and for some reason I learned it on my own. Sounds like a brag but no. If you knew spiritual things you would know that this came from the spirit and if you understand the spirit you would also understand me. And if so you understand thank you:)

I would say christians have hard time to follow commandments of jesus.... but I was suprised as a muslim when ever I went to bow down to allah swt I praised allah swt/ the creator/father, mathew bible said that you should praise the father/creator/alllah swty jesus saying is in invitingly.... Allah swt the creator father of all should be thanked so much for this world the here after and what he is giving in the here after... Be a muslim to enjoy everything specially the here after is easiest I would say as I don't have much time now

God is not a trinity, it is not found in the bible, also John 1:1 is not saying that God's saying is the son, the word there in Greek is logos, no where else is logos referred to the son of God, you have to assume and add an idea that is not actually there based on the trinity belief. the logos of God(his saying or testament) came upon the son and became flesh in him, that is the true meaning of John 1:1. God created everything by his saying/word, his word has power of it's own but is still part of God, now this is not to say that the son wasn't the craftsman in God's creation, he was there, as the first born of creation. (first born means he was actually born at some point in time and not co exist with the father from everlasting.)
By believing in the trinity(which was added to the catholic church around 4th century AD) we break the first commandment, and the second commandment and have the father robbed from the glory and love that he deserves. have you ever wondered why we don't know the name of the spirit but we know the name of the father and the son? have you ever wondered why in almost all churches every one singing to Jesus 99.99% of the time? even praying to Jesus even though Jesus himself said to pray to the father, his God and our God.

Study the word from the root of the word strongs concordence then even after that hebrew lexicon for even more meanings. Not the other way around just on what theologians wrote it and believe them there going to put there beliefs in it.
