the part where it is one shot, erik sitting opposite his lawyer.. and he talks about him getting abused by his dad and lyle... it was ASTONISHING acting.. and.. omg i cried my eyes out. SO well done.. beautifully done.

I think everyone can at least agree on the fact that the performances in this show were unbelievable. Bardem was terrifying and phenomenal as always, but the two guys playing the brothers are revelations. I hope to see more from both of them because they were absolutely amazing

I cried on the toupee scene. Being embarrassed by your parents when they want to humble you is the worst.

Javier Bardem never fails to TERRIFY me. Such good acting in this series.

Ryan Murphy said they spent 3 years researching for this sear but not ONCE did he, or his team, go actually speak to the brothers themselves. There was family, on the dad's side, that stayed with them for a little bit and they admitted that weird stuff was goin on in the home...that information was from a documentary on Hulu.

I think the shock thing here is the fact Ryan trying to put a gay spin on Lyle and Erik lives.

Even though I strongly believe that the brothers were sexually abused, the brothers spending lavishly shortly after their parents' deaths, it made them not look very good.

I pulled an all-nighter watching this. The cast did an INCREDIBLE job. I was blown away by how brilliant they all were. Just wow.

My sister and I were abused for many years by our dad. I used to pray god would kill him or me in my sleep so I wouldn’t have to live like that anymore. It got so bad that my sister and I planned to kill him one day. We got to the night it was gonna go down and even though she’s older she started to panic so I decided to do it myself but she stopped me. NO ONE knew it was going on so I won’t count out that these boys were being abuse and understand how growing up with your tormentors can push anyone over the edge and make you see no other way out. You don’t think straight in that environment. If they were being tormented and abused then good for them for doing it but I also know many kids are just spoiled and crazy and do this sort of thing sometimes so I don’t know what to believe.

Spoiler alert! Yeah I thought when the Mum tore off the wig and off Lyle and you could see how hurt and embarrassed he was, it was hard for him to talk about with Erik 😢

The gay director trying to make them gay was unnecessary. Other than that, great performances from the actors

I was shocked when the prosecutor at the second trial said: "Friends, the NBC show where Jenifer Aniston stars with others!"; in those days only Courteney Cox was known!!

Acting stupid, spoiled, narcissistic and even sociopathic, lying repeatedly, using their parents money after, trying to invent exculpatory stories, etc. Do NOT exclude the possibility that they, in fact, were victims of systematic sexual abuse. In fact, some of those above mentioned personality traits are causally linked to neglect and abuse from early childhood. With regard to how they basically followed a textbook on how to effectively ruin their defense, acting impulsively and irrational from the very start to the very finish, I'd consider it highly unlikely that they at the same time would be strategic enough to plant a story of sexual abuse YEARS ahead of the murders. Doesn't add up at all.

Javier... was...terrifying. Man. But when he put on that laurel wreath I was dead. This man is crazy.

They were spending more money than an amateur bank robber after pulling a big score. They should have just moved out of the country and disappeared
