My father did horrible things to me started before I was in school. I was hospitalized for a bleeding ulcer by 13. By 16 I was running around with 1%er bikers. They were like big brothers, extremely protective over me. No funny business, I was off limits.
An offer was made to "handle " my father, pedophiles are the bottom of the barrel to bikers and are better off dead. I considered it, as a stupid teen might. Then I thought who would care for my disabled mom and little siblings financially, He may be a piece of shit law breaker but I am not. I said to them thank you but I'll figure it out. I turned that rage into the drive to protect my family and be successful. By 20 I moved my siblings out, they were never molested. By 23 my house was 2x his, I offered my mom a way out. She stayed, she only lived another 5 yrs. She did her best to stop him. I don't blame her at all.
He may have been evil, it didn't mean I had to kill him to move on. I became wealthy on my own. F him

Watching the Netflix documentary was devastating; my heart broke for them. I don’t condone what they did to their parents, but it's a case of “hurt people hurt people.” Despite being in prison, the brothers have worked on turning their lives around. Lyle got a college degree, and Erik found his passion for painting. They have advocated for other victims of sexual abuse. Lyle and Erik should be given a second chance in life. It’s okay if you disagree!

Omg I am so happy it’s going to be reviewed I have been following and thinking about this case since I first learned about it when I was 11. I hope they are let free❤️

Lyle and Erik have contributed far more good to the world (behind bars!) than their coward parents ever could. They have counselled other sexual abuse survivors, inmates and outside prison through writing, and refused to give up hope

My mom was obsessed with court tv back in the day. I remember watching this trial with her. Then I remember nothing but OJ. I could not wait for that trial to end because she hogged the tv. lol

It's an amazing show and it hugely benefitted the brothers, even if they quite aggressively rant against it

The monster movie in netflix potrait them as incest while they actually not in real life, he kinda try to copy what his father did to is brother unconsciously when they were kid.

Wait a min everyone I have something to say:

Yes I'll admit what the brothers did was wrong. BUT did anyone considered that the parents made them do this because of what the parents did?

YOU KNOW THERE IS 2 SIDES TO EVERY STORY!! Please do not get mad at me for saying this but consider it for a moment

Somehow Memendez brothers story appeared as a YouTube suggestion.Since then, i watch the incidence on the youtube. My psychology has already been destroyed. Imagine, you r the actual person experincing such a big traumas. Nobody, especially in such a young age, still being schoolboys, not yet ready to stand on their own feet, prefer to kill parents for money...They spent lots of money...They did cause traumatised people react to the situations much more differently then the normal ones.Yet, keep in mind, if they were really money oriented basturds, they wouldn't mention the killing incident to their psychologists. Hundred percent i believe in their innocence..I cannot sleep at nights and their story cannot go out of my mind although never ever i have experienced any kind of such abuses in my life. Emphatically i can relate myself to them...Horrific paternal experience just extremely horrific...

We're gonna hear court altering testimony here first

Anyone that actually watched the court tapes from the first (and only legitimate) trial, can see that the boys were deeply traumatised and that they needed empathy and HELP, not to be separated in prison for years. How horrible

It's a new day and age so they could be free. Especially with the amount of attention the case is getting and this new evidence...
