Your videos are so much better and easier to follow than Khan academy! You helped me ace my calculus final yesterday and your videos are helping me so much studying for my trig final. THANK YOU!!!!

@jshoemaker7272 well, all the way around is 2pi radians, so in your case it will be 3/8 of 2pi, so just multiply 3/8 * 2pi! that is all you have to do : )

@jshoemaker7272 not sure. there are some youtube settings i think that link stuff to facebook, so you may check your account settings. i do not see how your account could be linked with someone elses though, but i am not positive at all about it.

This video may be 7 years old, but it definitely helped me tie up those loose ends for my mid terms.

I recommend everyone who has trouble in Math to watch your video.

I am gonna your fan for life, unless you disappoint me... LOL

I wrote your Youtube account name on the white board at school, and told everyone and the teacher, that your a genius and helpful through videos... And how I watch your videos daily to help with homework, which is why I got high "B's" on the tests

It took me a sec to realize you converted to radian measure which in my opinion you did a longer version. 15*pi/180 and then simplify but whatever at least you help me understand the rest!!

you simplify it, to get theta from an angle you gotta do angle/360 x 2pie.
The easiest way to convert angles to theta is to do angle/180 x pie. this video makes it look very complicated

Hey Patrick, this is in your calc section of your website but obviously should be in trig. Just fyi... btw, do you have more examples of the calculus version?

why do we use radians to measure the angle instead of degrees?

Sorry for this noob question, can you please explain to me where you got 180 from, coz i know a circle is 360 degrees but 180? where u got that from?

easy way to compute..
Arc Length = Diameter x 3.14 x Deg / 360

May I ask why when solving the steps, you always did "= 1° x #"? Like for example in your second example you put 210 x pi/180 = 1° x 210. What is the purpose of putting 1° x 210 = 210°?

Thanks.

is it really necessary to convert degrees to radians and back instead of solving in degrees? loving your videos btw.
