About this channel: Welcome to my channel. I'm Amber Smith. My husband Granger and I live on a little farm in central Texas with lots of animals and our beautiful, super funny kiddos. We have London, Lincoln, River (who is now with Jesus) and Maverick. This channel is a spin off of our family vlog The Smiths.

I started Arise, when we lost our son, to share my feelings of loss, grief, love, hope, parenting and my faith journey along the way. We comb through scripture, I share what the Lord puts on my heart, I answer questions and more. My hope through Arise is that something I say makes you want to seek Jesus. He changed my life and my heart when I was in my 30s and I've been sharing the good news ever since.

The scriptures you are reading are so rich and an eye opener of what God wants in our lives! Offense is a tool of the enemy! Offense becames like a snowball that produces layers of unforgiveness, then bitterness! We need to ask God to help us be an overcomer. Right now God is helping a friend and I not to be negative! We have noticed that joy is coming into our hearts as we work in this area! I am going to go back and listen to the scriptures you are giving and writing them down!

If people are offended then that's their problem. As believers we're called to not be offended and we can't please everyone. There are some things that we should speak up for and hold to such as speaking up and being a voice to those who have no voice such as the orphans, widows, the enslaved and truly oppressed (not the overly offended worldly view of oppression). Keep living for Jesus and go to Him for guidance in what to do in this life, trust in Jesus in everything you do and He will get you through.

What you said hit home for me, I may have been wrong, but I was offended when my Neice posted on fb near Christmas about her spouses divorce services. She got very upset by my negative reaction. I’m sorry people are hurtful to you and you your family. You are a brightness in this world.As I needed positive beauty, This year, for the first time, I put my tree up before thanksgiving.

Amber I am so sorry that people were so mean to you about Christmas, I know of a lot of people that actually put up Christmas early before thanksgiving this year. I grew up Catholic but seem that I might want to be Christian. I always thought they were the same but I am now aware they are not. I LOVE WATCHING ARISE, so thankful for you and that I came a cross your channel! Love the Smiths and Grangers channel as well, Yee Yee! I just have one problem and that is I can’t find your Amazon list you said would be in the description but I can’t find it and also when in the very beginning you said you would post down below bibles or devotional books and I can’t find them anywhere???
