Before the internet India was perceived as this mysterious land full of wisdom, meditation masters, and ancestral knowledge but with the internet era now we know it is the land of scammers, rapists, terrible traffic and hygiene hell

We Indians don't want to accept that we have a lot of problems that need to be addressed: Population, Pollution, Poverty, Privacy, Personal rights, Hygiene, Sanitation, Noise, Civic sense, Infrastructure, Safety, Corruption a few among them. We need to address these issues without pointing fingers at others. I hope we can change these issues by taking self responsibility over time.

My parents took me to India when I was 13 and being an American I have to say it gave me a completely different perspective on life and really opened my eyes. I loved that trip as the culture was so different it just completely enthralled me. It gave me a new appreciation for where I lived and made me more culturally aware. I learned more going to places like India than I ever did in history class.
