Haha… thank goodness my son isn’t a Jerk, as he got into Duke this year. He loves it, such a prefect fit and great community of diverse students.

Public Universities are more fair in admission than Ivy leagues and Duke. At public universities, students pay less tuition and get a great education.

how in the world would an admission committee know if someone is a jerk or not? are they calling the neighbors and asking classmates to see who the jerks are? I mean, it makes sense not to admit a jerk. but how do you know based on the application which is basically putting their cleanest, best version of yourself to the colleges. it's the same thing when dating. don't marry jerks. you can't tell based on the first date (equivalent of applying to college)
