Learning in itself is enjoyable but the pressure to learn and score good marks to please everyone around you takes the fun away from it. What's left is just stress and sadness from doing something I don't like.

School is what kills the desire to learn by making learning painfully boring, to the point where I used to cry before school cuz of how boring it is. It’s so boring that the boredom was scary. Scary enough to make a little kid cry.

Instead of learning just to memorize it... Trying to learn the "why?" Of the said question makes it way more fun. Although it'll probably be slower in most cases but it'll stick to the brain.

Amen, brother. I’ve been learning since early childhood, and I still have no idea where else it will take me. What I do know is that there has never been a greater obstacle to learning than school, but fortunately I learned that early in life and never let any academy or institution get in the way of my education. I’ve grown up to be the consummate 21st century Postmodern Renaissance Man, and I am absolutely immune to boredom or fatigue when I’m learning. On behalf of others who won’t think to, I for one am glad to thank you for the reminder. Cheers. 🙏

It's cause I'm not learning anything when I'm studying. I already know and understand most of the material, but my teacher tests us on the most obscure things, so I need to tediously go through all the notes multiple times cause otherwise I will forget something, and this process is so tedious I hate it.

When I entered med school, I was all curious and the like, but they fade me information rapidly, and in huge volumes beyond my appetite to learn. Things turned around too quickly especially when I realized I could actually fail and be kicked out of Uni. As we speak I just want this year to end. The way they are teaching everything at once, exams approaching, assessments, before finals, and for some reasons I have to pass... I feel so screwed man...

I love studying but currently not cuz if i fail I'll not get college, this time i just grab topics as much as i can rather than studying same topic for hours in depth like i used to do when i was in school and that wasn't even needed that time but still i used to do that cuz i enjoyed to study but now it's a pressure it's a need😮‍💨and I'm not enjoying it.

Its the fact that uni material just repeats the same shit over and over and over again, its so tedious
