Timely. Just surrendered a relationship to God that I have been pursuing for 8 months and it has been nothing short of a roller coaster of emotion and burden. Now I am finding that by surrendering it to God I have to learn to trust Him with my heart and my future.

a godly man and I have been in each other's life for over a year and he still gives me chances even though sometimes I unintentionally say the wrong things to him. He's very forgiving and he's a great leader in the relationship. Sometimes I think about God when I think of this. Exactly. Yesterday’s sermons of Paul’s story of not taking vengeance or defended himself, but instead praising the Lord in the prison, finally touched my heart, as I was angry with the Lord, for seemingly letting the evildoers off the hook, while I’m the one being miserable alone despite being devoted to God. I wanted vengeance. I hated them for talking bad about my family, dragging people’s opinions to dislike us, and even ruined my relationship. However, yesterday God reminded me to be still and choose to solve the problem in His way… I cried, apologize to God, and repent… Then today came this video… All the points match perfectly, which strengthens me more:

1. It’s too big for me to solve, the gossip spreader is so powerful and there’s nothing I can do unless retaliate in a bad way
2. I wanted vengeance, I wanted to see their lives get ruined too
3. The emotions of anger, sadness, defeated feeling all mixed as a storm in my heart

Thank God He stopped me. Praise the Lord…

This video came exactly when I needed it. Grace for purpose had the same title " be still" a few days ago, and now you. I couldnt believe it, so I went back looking for it and I found the video. So even as I reflect on past crushes, I feel as if God is teaching me to be still and to put him first whether I get married or remain single. I remember my last crush I had, I was in the sin of idolatry in which of course I repent of.
