Mace Windu did survive which is confirmed by lore, since Samuel Jackson asked him and Lucas said yes.

At this point, Samuel Jackson is getting too old or is too old for the demands ppl would have in mind for fight scenes. If anything he should just be another Yoda from Empire Strikes Back.

Leave him dead his death was epic and he is an iconic character of the prequel trilogy. He messed up and it's better that the last appearance of his character is defined by that mistake. But bringing him back would undermine the gravity of his failure as most of all jedi was killed and if he survived that scene wouldn't feel as impactful no more

Would be great if they made a windu series. Nobody cares about solo and the mandorian, most of us younger people grew up around the prequel era only people in they 40s-60 be hating on them

It is extremely unlikely that Windu would have survived. Using Luke as an example for Windu surviving from the lightning isn't really fare because Sidious probably put far more power on Windu then Luke. Not to mention that even if Windu broke his fall he would have been hit hundreds of times by flying cars going 100mph only to smash into the ground what is hundreds if not thousands of miles away because Coruscant is a plant that has several hundreds of layers of planet wide cities layered on top of each other.
