This fog wall has been extended below the cliff face as of 1.07. There is no need to attempt this skip as it has been patched.

Thanks so much; the only one that works today. Guys must remember while on the horse : 1- sprint toward to rock mentionned, 2- double-jump in the same direction, 3- then turn to the left.

Don't forget to align your head to the rock as Cainfoe said 0:35 (thank you for that tip, as I was jumping to the rock unaligned and dying.)

Once you get passed the fog, get on your mount and move far away from the fog wall as you can (use your mount) or else the boss can still hit and kill you if you're close by.

Another note: if you struggle navigating through the stairs with your thumbstick when your reach near the top, you can dismount and walk your way through the tracks =+=+=+= to get to grace point without the risk of falling.

Also, you won't be able to teleport travel if you skip boss as the game still thinks you're in the boss fight, so you will have to log out/save and come back de-aggro the boss fight.

Worked for me. Got it on the 3rd try. It's important not to go to the left until at almost the end of your 2nd jump with the steed.

It almost seems like the mist wall is more pushed out for me, i can't get as close to the cliff as you can

lining up his head with the rock and sprinting forward with torret is KEY, it will feel awkward but you will feel as torret hugs the rock and moves forward downwards, and that's when you double jump, maintaining your gaze forward and NEVER looking down as he will of tries but it works, patch 1.09 on this boss and doing this trick felt better than most fights i struggled with lol thnx for the video man.

Seems like it was patched on 1.07.
The invisible wall was added and extended even below the ground level which is peeking outside the rocks, if you proceed to sprint Torrent ends up hitting the barrier even before the double jump meant to happen. (correct me if I'm wrong)

I'll try to jump more to the right and go around the barrier if possible, and continue second jump to the left.

great video, thanks for making this. fuck the fire giant, worst designed boss in the whole game. they patched the wrong warp which could skip this guy, now im using this trick so I NEVER have to fight this piece of shit boss again. but I am sure they will patch this in 1.07, thus forcing everyone to fight this awful boss
