This boss changed my mind about Elden Ring. I used to think the game was good. Now I think it's cheese that wants to be cheesed.

Super cool trick. I was able to do the jump but the boss on both of my attempts just started to alternate fire balls so i went back to fighting him normally with carion greatsword. The 2nd phase is easy if you just go for his other leg behind him. Stay on your horse and if you are hitting his toes he wont hit you when he rolls. First phase is just slite kiting if you cant out dps when he falls. If i was hitting good amd he did right animation to start for me i could almost get into 2nd phase before he tried to move and speed up his attacks. Just keep swinging unless he makes the floor all fire. I went from either getting 1 shotted or using all 7hp pots. Used 4 fp pots only used 2. Summoned mimic for 2nd phase to distract for a little bit becuse youll do so little dmg. And that was the only dmg I took was from the summon. Mimic takes hp insted of fp

I did this, but forgot I've got garbage long-range stuff (bow/magic) so I just used my Celebrant's Skull hammer with the Golden Land Ash of War, which does the job wonderfully as well. Did it on NG+ just now, cheers!

Just beat him, knowing there is a cheese takes the pressure off but did t need it in the end. Tbh I didn’t think I could carry enough arrows to make a dent anyway.

Also if you have latenna ashes and have her upgraded 4+ she does quite a bit of damage as well

Use the moonveil katana that shxts way stronger than rivers of blood summon a mimic give him warming stones and Alexander if you have him

These bosses are just too damn hard! Spent 40hrs trying to kill this thing. Finally just gave up. They claimed this was a 25hr game...BULLSHIT! More like 100hrs per boss.
