Perfect! It dawned on me a couple days ago, through some experience, that the first method (outside, posting wrist knuckles high) is one of the most effective and safest ways to slip. And you just verified that. Love the clarity of your explanations of technique and match breakdowns. Thank you for the tips 👏

when i read the title on my homepage and it's like "NEVER..." the first thing that came to my mind - since it's your video - was that meme where it said "never go full Bowen" lol

I love that shirt R2B. Quick question. I'm normally a strong top roller. But often I get caught in a hook. I have rediculous back pressure to pull out of it almost all the time. But it takes a lot out of men. Do you have any advice on defending the hook?💪

I have never been able to slip in the 3 years I have been training arm wrestling. Nothing mentioned here works for me, I have a 9 inch hand and the guys I train with all have much smaller hands. I have a big thumb knuckle and I can't get it out of their hand with out doing a crazy no load swan style slip. In the strap there is no one who I train with who is remotely strong enough to do anything to my hand/wrist or arm but out of the strap I am not as explosive as some of the them and they all drag and rotate hard on the go. That's enough to take my wrist a little before my power turns on and stops them. I asked this of you and JB a few weeks ago, asking how to deal with everyone just running away as I found supinating helped a lot and JB said never to supinate. This is wierd for me because it works pretty much every time, they go backwards I come forward, with a little bit of supination and a heap of wrist flextion and it stops them from dropping my riser and once I stop their hit I then can opener to the pad. I think the main thing is I can't slip and I have a long arm, much longer than the guys I am versing so their lat drag hits my riser. If I use backpressure and post on the go my riser can't handle my back pressure then as my riser drops they are able to attack my wrist and I can't go sideways with out bending my own wrist. I understand that it's just a lack of experience but it's hard to get experience when there are no clubs in my state. I did 55kg one arm cable curl in the uncle johns table curl and I do a lot of weighted pullups so my backpressure and lat are good. My sidepressure is about 50kg on a cable machine depending on handle.

Does anyone know how to avoid the after shock that lights your arm up when you slip?? It doesn't always happen but a lot of times I get a shock wave and it hurts

What is the purpose of slipping? Is it considered a redo? Seems you can get a significant advantage if you tired your opponent by slipping then finishing them the following round.
