I loved the tip about forcing them to use a technique by reminding them of it lol. We all fall in that trap, I hadn't ever thought about weaponizing it.

I've been a subscriber but "be sure to subscribe to get fight tips before your opponent does" is genuinely the best tag line I think I have ever heard for a channel.

Wicked video I think this is one of the hardest things that beginners find once they’ve mastered the basics

Love the slip with counter, particularly the step to the outside off their jab, and landing your jab simultaneously.
Also, can do a body rip instead, or a turning kick to there stomach or even top of thigh (and yes follow up with overhand right 😃💥)

Bro, I have followed your channel for a while now and I love these fight tips. I have been training Muay Thai for two years now and my sensei even watches your videos.

Thanks for the shoring up my technique and here to breaking that 3 million subscriber wall!👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Speed or quick physical reactions or reflexes and intelligently drawing out your opponent's attack are key to maximizing the effectiveness of the slip-and-rip

can you do a video on the following:

why stay in the pocket and risk taking all that damage instead of L stepping/sidestepping/angling out and throwing a counter as you do so? I spar with a guy 80lbs heavier than me who machine guns with straight punches and rushes me and all I do is circle out and as I do, I either do light rapid fire jabs back at him with my close hand and guard my face with my other, or simply slip as I L step and throw a cross counter as I exit on an angle and then keep circling away til he gasses himself out and then I just unload when he's trying to catch his breath. The only time it doesn't work is if I panic, forget the footwork, and 'turn away' or if I don't react quickly enough. I'm new to sparring so that'll just take practice

Nice video. I was wondering if you have ever made a video regarding improving aim on striking, especially kicks. I am struggling to get my kicks to land exactly where I want them too. For example; aiming for a switch kick to the liver tends to land at about tit level. Also, my outside leg kicks tend to land a little high as well.

Like the gear and the walls, also you pointed out using the rear arm to push up the opponents arm to block, or lift it out of the way and counter-strike

4:55 Sergio Martinez got KO of the year 2010 using that exact technique. Hard to pull off but terribly effective. Awesome video!
