I had this issue recently and noticed that most of these devices support Wifi with 2.4GHz.
New versions support 5GHz.
So, some new modems or routers now have these 2 versions of WiFi enabled by default, some of them broadcast one wifi for every version or both with the same name causing some difficulties with devices.
First, I would suggest to confirm if your phone and tv or roku supports 5GHz wifi. You can disable 2.4GHz wifi by entering to your router/modem settings. Like that you will work only with 5GHz which is fast and for sure you won’t have problems finding your tv again. If 5GHz is not supported on one of both devices, disable it and stay only with 2.4GHz
