Netflix no longer supports mirroring. No matter in app or not. They are slowly destroying themselves.

Thats not called mirroring, that is called casting.

There's no screen share Option in mine why's that?

won't work because then it locks you into your household TV and if you're not at home you're screwed. If you have a laptop or tablet you can then connect to the TV with a cable

Mine still works in Smart view for Samsung but it's unnaturally dark. Trying to figure out how to fix this and Google wants to send me everywhere but to the solution to my problem, which is how I ended up here. Another place that does not answer my question.

I just resolved my issue — pull the Netflix app on your smart tv. Your tv will ask you to scan the QR code which will then verify and connect your app on your phone automatically with your tv.

Fun fact... it isnt everyone that fails to work. But it can and does still work. The lucky people... likely are in the same as myself.

Mirroring ( or Miracast / Mirrorshare etc. ) via WiFi Direct isn't the same thing as streaming to a TV via dlna or via a Chromecast device from a phone or a tablet.

The weird thing is that mirroring of Netflix to a TV actually works from a Windows 11 (?) laptop or PC.
