How I see it, artists and other creators should band together and try to be supportive of each other. People always bicker about art being a competition, which I respectfully think is dumb. If you focus on being better, you're becoming less of an artist and being an overachiever.
Art is something supposed to be at one's own journey, and even though there's trouble along the way, that's what makes it more fulfilling in the long run.

I clicked on it so fast when I read the title!! I was like "oh hell no! She's not second-guessing herself and having another existential crisis!! Not on my watch!" 😂❤️

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more artists in Youtube. Letting their videos play in the background makes great ambience for a drawing mood. And it wouldn't hurt aspiring Youtube artists to learn video editing programs because that's another skill to add in their resume.

You are so awesome. I admire you and your work so much. I do art for a hobby now, but when I was younger I always said I wanted to be an artist. I ended up choosing a very different career, but I just want to say to anyone scared to make art their career, I think the challenge is similar in other career paths as well. Anything worth doing will require some tough love, so if you really love art, just do it and give it your all! I've had some rough downs with my path (I'm in medicine), but also the ups and I'm very happy where I am. I think you're a great role model, Minnie! I watch your videos every day :)

I for one love the fact that YouTube artist share their own experiences and knowledge with others. I learn alot from these videos that artist share. For example, product reviews are very helpful and how to use the media.

FELLOW ARTISTS!!
pls comment if you're an artist that wants to build a friendship and a community!! I think it is very important, especially for us teeny weeny ones!
No matter how much we try to think "numbers aren't important!", Having someone to give you support and criticism is very reassuring! ♥️

"....it is definitely saturated with Youtubers doing the same thing but [there is space] if you want to bring something different..."

SO SO SO TRUE!! Great Q&A vid. Congrats on 262K.

I really enjoy your videos. I work with artists since I had this start up project. I found many artists would speak bad about their 'day job' (supermarket job like yours or waiting for tables at a bar) as if they were born to do something great but forced into this 'supermarket jobs'. Sure, jobs can be frustrating, but art career could be too. It's the matter of a choice, and responsible for the choice. I'm happy to see that you liked your day job and enjoy doing art as well.

Soooo excited for this video! Grabbing a snack and settling in. You are such inspiration to so many people and you deserve all the best in life ❤️ I wouldn’t have a YouTube channel if it weren’t for your influence 😘

Yes! There's always enough room for more artists (on YouTube or otherwise) as long as they are bringing their unique and authentic voice. It's tough to want to always copy what's already out there (even though it is fine to join the fun sometimes)! I think instead of asking yourself the question "what is my art style?" ...asking yourself the question "what is the authentic style I want to present my art and art journey?" It's not easy but if you can stay true to your unique voice people will gravitate and embrace you even when/if your art style changes 💞

Thanks god. I am sick and I am at home for the whole day, I just wanted something relaxing to watch or hear as I simply can't draw, read and focus on the screen. Love your voice btw and congratulations!🍾

Very interesting insight, thank you for this! No artist should ever regret being an artist, it's part of who we are and how we perceive the world.
