As hard as this is for you all to go through, it is indeed beautiful to see.

As a young unmarried Christian, it is so easy to think that since you are living according to the Word of God, you have a relationship with Him, and you are indeed doing all that you can to walk uprightly, that He owes it to you to only allow the things that we deem good to happen to us. But videos + stories of faith such as this one are so incredibly important because it speaks to the fact that even though our Father may allow us to go through suffering, in the end it is all in an effort to draw us closer to Himself. It’s all in an effort to continue to build our lives + place our trust in Him. And it is in these places of darkness that God’s Light shines brightest.


Thank you all so much for sharing and clinging to God throughout this tough experience. Your testimony has encouraged me greatly to continue to submit to the Lord in my own season of suffering, because there is a beautiful strengthening, refining, and reinforcing that is birthed out of those ashes.

First and foremost I want to send my condolences to you both and I pray that God continues to keep and comfort you during this time 🙏🏾 I’ve tried to comment and deleted it 2 times already but the devil is a liar 🙄 I want to thank you for your willingness/obedience in sharing your testimony once again, especially one so vulnerable because it’s an answer to one of the concerns I’ve had but haven’t fully placed on the altar. As someone that has had a skewed perspective of God/been a prodigal and has now been in the process of rebuilding my relationship with Christ/waiting for marriage post pandemic, I find that I sometimes struggle with how do people “practically” withstand certain trials and tribulations. From miscarriages, premature death of a spouse, life altering illnesses/injuries etc, I couldn’t wrap my head around knowing God is good, faithful, uses all things for His glory, but then experiencing some of these things and coming out on the other side okay. God has continued to use you guys as an example for me on the importance and the necessity of TRULY being dependent on God first and foremost, and then everything else falling into place. I thank you for worshipping Him in spirit and in truth and being an example of what it looks like to count it all joy, be steadfast and unmovable in your faith, and most importantly to still TRUST and SERVE God in every circumstance. Sorry for being so long winded, but I really felt lead to share that your journey is edifying and motivates me to strengthen my walk with Christ ❤
